ok, if you read my last blog, you know i have nothing to do but sit around and think today.  if you read any of my blogs or Facebook posts, you know i am crazy about animals, especially dogs, especially Siberian Huskies.  Last year after BJ died i decided i'd do a good deed and adopt a husky.  When we got to Husky House there were several dogs.  There was a bigger  older one hanging around looking a bit intimidating and a lot like BJ.  hey, i like that one said i.  That's Oreo, he's lived in two houses and two shelters before we rescued him replied the founder of Husky House.  After we pass a rigorous home inspection and reference check we take Kodi our surviving husky to meet Oreo." They sniff each other's butts run around a bit and go about their business. Loraine remarks, "they'll never be best friends, but the'll tolorate each other. But i HAD to have Oreo.  Felix reluctantly agrees and we load him into our funky old wagon and drive home.  My friends on Facebook all know that Oreo has done some CRAZY destructive stuff, but i love this dog more and more everyday.  See, i can relate to Oreo.  Every nutty thing he does is because he is anxious, afraid or very happy.  He has terrible separation anxiety.  He hates we he's left and he doesn't know where his loved one is or when they'll be back.
Hey, guess what?  That's my worst fear!  He jumps for joy and knocks over everything in his path when i return.  That's how i feel when i see loved ones that  i miss.  He makes a mess and doesn't always clean up his messes; me too! When i cry he stays by me.  He's always available when i need a hug.  He waits patiently for me to get out of bed everyday.  He follows me everywhere i go.  He's loyal to a fault that's one excellent trait i can't claim but hanging with Oreo may help me develop it.  That's why i love this dog!
